How to put a Samsung S5 in Virtual Terminal (VT-2) mode ?

This is a discussion on How to put a Samsung S5 in Virtual Terminal (VT-2) mode ? within the Samsung Chromebook forums, part of the Chromebook Forum category; I tried to put my Samsung S5 in VT-2 pressing CTRL-ALT-[-> Right Arrow Key/F2] but nothing happend I could go to crosh shell without problems ...

    How to put a Samsung S5 in Virtual Terminal (VT-2) mode ?

    I tried to put my Samsung S5 in VT-2 pressing CTRL-ALT-[-> Right Arrow Key/F2] but nothing happend
    I could go to crosh shell without problems pressing CTRL-ALT-t but I need a more robust shell to work and install for example Oracle JRE in my Samsung S5. Any suggestion welcome

    Not sure what the deal is with those, but with the CR48 you need to put the device into developer mode in order to access a better shell. Since this is not a developer device I doubt you will be able to do... anything..
