Pretty much this. They are not known as 'fun' phones, they are geared towards work for the most part.

I know what they're popular for, I just don't consider anything that blackberry has a "killer" or even desired feature (for me at least).
    Motorola Droid 2

RIM's market share suggests it has some 'desired feature' for someone...choice is good.

I tried that and switched back quickly.

I'm loving my Droid Incredible. Can't wait for my 16gb microsd card to come in so I can root this baby and have free wifi tether that I can hopefully hook up to a Cr-48!

Root it with the supplied card?

From what I understand you need at least 2gb of free space on your microsd card in order to root. The Incredible only comes with a 2gb card and I have filled that thing up. I could be wrong though, anyone have any insight?

PS I plan on using unrEVOked3 on a Mac for the root.

All you need is a rom file around 500mb a recovery.img which is tiny. Shouldn't need anything larger than what you have. I do suggest backing up anything that is on your card and reformatting it though.

I don't even have 500mb left on my SD card. I'll back up everything once I get the new card. I believe Santa got me one for Christmas so I may ask you for some tips come end of the month CBowley603. Thanks!

But I'm lucky to make 2-3 calls a week. All of my 'contact' is usually non-voice, so I have no real need for a 'calling plan' any more. Prepaid SIM would do just fine.
