    Wink .wmv player for OS

    Hi guys loving this site btw! Okay I have a Samsung Chromebook that I absolutely love but....I have an external hard drive of 250 gb of .wmv videos from work that the media player in Chrome OS does not support. Do you guys know of an extensions that will play .wmv video files on a Chromebook from my external hard drive - I have been very unsuccessful in finding one that actually works.

    I think you are on to something. First, how do you connect to the drive with the WMVs on it? (Home wifi network, or a USB cable?)

    I have not tried it yet, but the app MWPlayer inline appears to play WMV files in a popup window from a website. If your hard drive with the files on it was, say, on your home network and accessible through an addressible DYNDns address, it seems you might be able to play them that way.
    I didn't get a Cr-48 during the great Cr-48 gold rush of 2010. I just got TWO off of eBay! NOW I can play with this OS on native hardware!!!!
