Chrome OS on Toshiba Laptop - Wireless Connectivity

Hi everyone; I have just installed Chrome OS as dual boot with Windows 7 on my new Toshiba Satellite laptop. All works well EXCEPT for wireless access. I can use my wired LAN connection fine but have no clue as to how to get the wireless connection working. Wireless works fine under Windows 7 but not under Chrome OS. Has anyone done this? would greatly appreciate any assistance.

Newer operating systems do not always have the complete support for hardware once out. Some hardware may not be compatible with some systems as there are design specifications they have to follow that may not be effective to the new one. Usually, the operating system will be the one to adjust so as to be able to build the market share with its target clients.

Unfortunatly, ChromeOS doesn't support all wireless adapters. The opensource project behind Chrome OS (Chromium OS) has a website dedicated to hardware that works with the OS. Developer Hardware - The Chromium Projects

You say you have a Satellite? What model, exactly? The website indicates that the Toshiba Satellite A205-S5000 is only having memory card reader issues.
