If I am lucky enough to get one of these things, I hate to have to SUB to 2 different VZW Wireless Modem Accounts.

...but what if we want to use the modem we already have instead of needing to sign up for more?
WE ARE GOOGLE. YOUR USAGE DATA AND STATISTICS WILL BE ADDED TO OUR OWN. RESISTANCE IS FUTILE. PREPARE TO BE INDEXED.

I don't have a modem to test or else I could help you out Jim.

Maybe one day this week I will swing by the Verizon store and plug one of those in to see what happens.

It honestly might work since when I turn on USB Tethering on my Droid I get an Ethernet connection -- I can only guess that something similar would happen with the EVDO Modem.

I may be able to get my hands on a Sprint or AT&T equivalent to test, but I'm not hopeful -- they seem to require plenty of software and lots of jumping and hoops when we set them up at work.
