I am curious if anyone has used a USB EVDO Wireless Modem in their CR 48 yet?
If I am lucky enough to get one of these things, I hate to have to SUB to 2 different VZW Wireless Modem Accounts.

it's built in, so no need, we get 100mb free. to use per month, for 2 years...
...but what if we want to use the modem we already have instead of needing to sign up for more?

I don't have a modem to test or else I could help you out Jim.
Maybe one day this week I will swing by the Verizon store and plug one of those in to see what happens.
It honestly might work since when I turn on USB Tethering on my Droid I get an Ethernet connection -- I can only guess that something similar would happen with the EVDO Modem.
I may be able to get my hands on a Sprint or AT&T equivalent to test, but I'm not hopeful -- they seem to require plenty of software and lots of jumping and hoops when we set them up at work.
