Put this response in the Cr-48 tracker thread, but my best guess is that he is using a UPS API to grab data from their site that allows for OriginCity, PackageWeight and DestinationCity and using those three fields to get the count of Cr-48's shipped out.

My friend who does web development for a living guessed the same thing, but its all server side so no way for us to actually know.

Completely random Google search, but it seems like it would be legit. I looked up a few cities, and the number of units shipped were proportional to the size of the area (larger area = statistically higher probablility of a higher number of units shipping there)

Yes, but it also says that only 6,221 have shipped so far; and that is out of 60,000 - so there's plenty of time for you to receive one.

I hope it is legit because there was one shipped yesterday to my city... which is pretty small!
