Webcam & Microphone are not detected.. ARG! HELP!

Let me start from the beginning; Somehow my CR-48 OS was damanged, and I had to download the Chrome OS and make a recovery USB stick and reinstalled Chrome onto my notebook. I did a complete fresh install to get rid of any kinks or problems that might arise in the future (not sure what my girlfriend did to make the OS fail in the first place, but thats another story )

I was able to create a login photo with the camera, but when I tried to use Chatroullete, Picnik, Youtube, or Cameroid - none of them even regonized my Microphone OR camera... I googled and saw some people said to disabled Flash/Shockwave in aboutlugins - So I tried this, and still no luck. I went into Flash settings and enabled flash to use my webcam and microphone - but even in the settings - it said a Webcam was undetected, and same for a microphone.

I am not sure what the hell is going on... Someone please help!!

I upgraded Chrome after the fresh reinstall and disabled one (i forget which) of the shockwave/flash versions - and the camera worked fine (on chatroullete and youtube - cant vouch for the others yet)
