Chrome OS currently doesn't support Java, as far as I'm aware. My Minecraft addiction has gone unsupported

I had hopes for Java support myself, but it didn't materialize. I've seen suggestions it may never be included. Upon thinking about it, I may see why. Java itself is not inherently "cloud-based". While it has been tightly integrated to browsers for years, Java depends a lot on local resources, including local storage. While certain Java apps may not, the API is designed for local use. Even accessing HTML and web-based resources from within a Java VM is not a simple process, as Java doesn't have access to any outside resources - including the web browser itself.

I have discovered that using Chrome OS I can install Firefox. Pogo games will then play in Firefox.

To install Firefox just go to "Computer"; Install/Remove Software. In the new window search for "firefox". Check Mozilla Firefox for installation. Install.

Now if you have installed sun java, Pogo should work in Firefox.

I don't understand what you mean by "go to 'Computer'". Perhaps include some pictures of the process to explain it further? Otherwise I'm really gonna have to say you don't know what you're talking about.

snapshot1.jpg This is a screenshot of my Chrome OS dekstop. It may be too small to see, but there is an icon labeled "Computer" in the lower left corner. That is what you must click on to get started.
