It's what I use now , all my music is up there and it fits in the 20 gig of storage I got for buying an album, that on top of the free 5 gig .....good for about 3000 songs..and music you buy from the store does not count against that storage...some great deals on albums too....a lot of stuff can be had for $3-$5 ...I love this service and the thing that separates it form say Audo galaxy is the sound quality...it's top of the range as they say.
The Android app works like a gem too
wow 20gb is for the price of an album is a pretty nifty deal!
I'm looking into different ways of getting music on my trusty cr-48 I had windows on it but recently converted back to Chrome OS
Have you looked at mspot of subsonic?
Remember, the 20GB for an album is only a one year thing. After that it is $20/year. Which is still a good deal.
The only bummer about buying mp3's is that you cant preview the songs because it has to download the 30 sec file and CrOS wont play it. Other wise i think that it is great. I love it!

Thanks for the tips everyone! I opted for the amazon cloud drive and uploaded all my contend to the cloud player. it took FOREVERRRRRRR but after all was said and done I was able to stream all my music from anywhere! I'm loving it so far, it's quite responsive and runs a lot faster than grooveshark (another service I'd been testing out)
one thing that would be nice on the cloud player is keyboard controls. but that's just me being picky.![]()
Yeah, I started uploading my music to the cloud drive at about midnight, it finished at 10am i believe. And I only had 330 songs. I considered uploading other personal files into the cloud drive, but then i got a little paranoid about privacy, so i googled amazon's privacy policy regarding their cloud drive. People are complaining about it because amazon reserves the right to look at your files for whatever reason, without notifying you. So...I decided I'll just keep my files stored locally for the time being. Dropbox has your files encrypted, and can't look at them even if they wanted to - Or so I've read on the internet.
As a music storage service, amazon's cloud drive is amazing in my opinion. I've wanted the ability to play my music from my android phone, but i didn't want to fill up my sdcard with my music. And I had my ipod touch anyways which is now just a music device for me since my phone can do everything else. But it's nice now being able to listen to music if i ever forget my ipod touch.

I'm a big fan of AudioGalaxy, just because I have 100+ gigs of music, so it's a lot easier to stream from my own PC, rather than have to upload everything. It also works as an alternative to DNLA on my home network...

I wonder if the google music player will make the Amazon Cloud obsolete? , don't have my invite to google music yet but reading about it there seems to be more storage.
Question
On my android amazon cloud app not all my songs from my PC cloud are there right?
is there a storage limit on the app?
