Why Do People Complain So Much?

I find it hilarious the complaining that goes on with the apps in the Web Store, I was wanting a twitter app and checked tonight and there is one available , it brings you right to twitter, previously there was tweetdeck , not a fan.

Yet there is a bunch of people complaining that it's " nothing more than a bookmark"..."what's the point in that"....yada yada yada blah blah blah.

Essentially, most websites can be considered applications. That is the part people don't understand. You are still using an app, you just don't have to download it, un-package and install, hope it is compatible with your OS etc.

Quick question, can you make a custom icon/bookmark thingy? (real technical term) I just want to make bookmark that goes to Microsoft SkyDrive but in icon form on my home screen. SkyDrive by the way is so cool, 25GB for free and the apps, the online office stuff is really nice. I really don't know how Google can compete with that, I mean 25GB, oh and the best part no file size cap. So you can upload an entire Divx movie. Now I just wish I could stream them. Actually I currently have a Asus WebStorage account and if you have a Divx movie and click on it, they will convert it in realtime to Flash and play it online. So that's how I watch movies on my Chromebook. Try it out, Online backup, file sync, for pad, PC, Android and iPhone - ASUS WebStorage they give you 2GB for free but they also have an unlimited option for 80 bucks a year. 80 bucks a year and you get un-frigen-limited storage space, so cool.

You can, but I believe that you need a developer account and you need to own the app. You can read this:

You can make an app easy enough, its just an icon and a small text file. You can store it locally, but it will only display on your chromebook. If you want it to display on every instance of chrome that you use, then you would have to publish it in the market...

Thanks for the help for now I'll just be using the programs for myself I don't think their not good enough to release yet. I however did write a really cool PHP program that will automatically make a icon with picture for any site you deem a program or just want to launch a site by clicking an icon instead of a bookmark link. It's not very secure but I also added support for querying the password manager in case the site you going to needs credentials. I'll rewrite in Chrome then I'll release this app as I think it will be helpful, I mean I like icons more then bookmarks don't you. Anyone interested in being my guinea pig for testing my new app?
