How smoothly do video chat apps like "imo instant messenger" and "Google Talk" work?

I'm really interested in using the webcam to video chat with friends I have across the country while on the go, and I need to know which apps work best. If there are other apps, that work better please mention them.

Google talk, Blurrypeople, and Tiny chat all work really well. You need to go to here http://www.macromedia.com/support/do...manager04.html and allow tinychat, but everything works as smooth as it does anywhere else.

Is the built in camera a vga camera of a 1.3MP camera?

i did video chat through google talk and the picture was very clear my first time

after that it became blurry

i dont think it is vga think it is at least 1.3

sometimes its choppy, sometimes not its really hard to predict!!

does anyone know of any chrome web apps that will work with skype? ive already tried a few and none of them work with skype. they can voice chat but not video chat. video simply does not come up for either party, even though it shows on the bottom that its recording.

Try going to Adobe - Flash Player : Settings Manager - Website Privacy Settings panel and "always allow" 'ing the site. Let me know if that works.

Google Talk seems to work great! The quality in full screen (from one CR-48 users to another CR-48 user) is amazing and pretty darn clear! Its hardly delayed and doesnt glitch at all (sometime the sound does)

still not sure how to skype with the CR-48.
